It is common as an interior designer to have a junior designer or even outsource your styling. For me, it’s like asking me if I’m OK if all the fun is sucked out of life? Or if Pepsi is OK instead of Diet Coke? Or if antiques are lame? The answer is always no. Solid and firm no. If your answer is yes, do you need a hug? And probably a crispy Diet Coke.
For me, I can see a plate or a fabric and immediately know what the room will be designed around. Curating all of those pieces will always be my job when I’m the lead on the project.
