you know those clothes that are too rough to thrift but you just cant bear to throw away?...time to upcycle!!

HOW-TO:
1. you will need a peg loom and warp string (available on our website) the wonderful thing about the peg loom is how versatile it is. You can use it to weave potholders/mats or beautiful rugs.
2. grab all the old clothes/ materials you have and cut them into long strips (for this video we didnt tie all of the material together we just tucked it in as we wove. but you can tie them all together if you want)
3. weave in and out of the pegs like you would for a normal weaving
( if you need more informatino on weaving checkout our rug weaving tutorial on Youtube. It is the same concept as this!)
4. pull the pegs and continue untill you have your desired lenght/width of rug. If you want a wider rug you will need another peg loom ( our peg looms are connectable) and if you want a longer rug you need longer warp string.
5. once you are completed all thats left to do is tie off the ends.

all done! Lets normalize upcycling clothing and preventing it from getting burried in the landfill. This material is perfect for potholders, camping mats, mud room mats ( or if you have better materials you can turn it into your own rug!)
