Ho, Ho, Ho! Christmas candles are here! Can you believe Christmas is right around the corner? Holiday candles are my absolute favorite to make and burn all winter long. There is scent for everyone on your list and they all give off that perfect nostalgic vibe of Christmas morning! My holiday candles will be available at C.N. Today is bittersweet and made me realize how much I am going to miss doing craft fairs. I am so grateful for everyone who came to my booth today and purchased candles, you have no idea how much that means to me. Today was a great fair day soooo…I decided to do ONE more fair this year! I’ll be at the Whitman Congregational Church on Saturday December 10th from 11-3! Okay, I know, I know…most of you are thinking; “I thought she said she was done with this”….welllllll apparently people can’t get enough of Buddha Belly and I am totally ok with that! I’ve decided to ride out the rest of this year and give the people what they want; natural soy candles that smell fire, and burn clean.
I thought I was going to be able to walk away from this business a lot easier but it’s been hard to do because I do love it. So, here I am, still slinging candles with 3 kids clinging to me every second of every day, in a whirlwind of chaos! With that being said I’m barely finding the time to make the candles (please bare with me, my production times have slightly increased). I’m only keeping a few stores stocked up for the rest of this year so please support local and swing by one of if not all of these amazing local farms and small gift shops to show us all some local love and give back to your community and small business owners like myself. Also, I am going to do my best to stock my stores the best I can but if you like a specific candle especially for around the holidays that you don’t see in the store or you want something personalized, please reach out to me and message me directly! I hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather today! I wanted to say hi and let you all in on the change that I’ve decided to make regarding my candle business. I haven’t been posting much and I honestly have not had the time or the will to come up with content to post. With 3 little ones under 3 it’s really been hard finding time to do anything! Life is hectic and I’m totally ok with this type of hectic. I’m taking what the universe is throwing at me and I’m going with it. I will no longer be continuing to make candles. I’ve had so much fun these past 4 years connecting with local businesses, meeting people at craft fairs and being able to show off my crafty side. I’ve been able to run and manage an entire business and get into stores and sell my products and I could not be more grateful for those opportunities I’ve been given. I’ve been able to accomplish all of that somehow while having 3 kids under 3. I feel pretty damn proud of myself! I honestly don’t know if I’ll go down the candle route again but I feel I’ve been given this time to not only raise a whole family but to work on something bigger and better! Life takes people in different directions and although this was not an easy decision for me to make, I do feel like it is the right one for myself but mostly for my family. Now I can take more time with other hobbies I enjoy, take more time for family and friends and time for myself. It’s hard taking that step back after accomplishing so much but at the end of the day you want to be happy with what your doing and feel balanced. Thank you all for all of your love and support through these last 4 years and I’m excited to see where this next road will take me and Buddha Belly. ✌🏼💜🕯

One of my favorite scents to burn while soaking in the tub is my Peppermint & Eucalyptus. The scent is soothing, refreshing and is known to have so many healing benefits. Pair this candle with your favorite bath salts and muscle rub and you’re on your way to de stressing relaxation. 🌿🕯🤍

Keeping all the good vibes close to me lately. Negativity and hateful vibes can’t perforate my bubble of positivity when I surround myself with positivity, love and all the healing crystals. You can throw them my way all you like, but I’m not letting them affect me. People who hold grudges against others when they’ve done nothing wrong, thinking that you are better than someone when you don’t even know them, unfriending someone with no explanation, jealousy; these are a lot of the negative vibes I’ve been dealing with lately and let’s just say no one has the right to judge others. You don’t know what someone has been through and never the less what someone is going through. Keep your head up, keep your crystals close and never let the haters bring you down. 🔮🕯✌🏼
