There’s something so special about wedding flowers that feel like they could have been gathered straight from the garden. 🌸

Soft dahlias, cosmos, and roses came together in this bouquet with all the color, texture and movement we love. Nothing too perfect or overly arranged, just romantic, garden inspired flowers for a beautiful day.

One of our favorite parts of wedding work is creating florals that feel completely at home in the setting and completely personal to the couple. 🤍

If you’re thinking about next year’s garden, here’s another flower worth adding to your fall planting list: Alliums 💜

Alliums are part of the onion family, and I love the way their perfectly round blooms add something a little unexpected to the garden. They’re beautiful growing among other spring flowers, but they’re just as lovely cut and brought inside.

Plant the bulbs in the fall about 4 to 6 inches deep, cover them with soil and water them well after planting. Then, like so many spring bulbs, you get to forget about them for a while and enjoy the surprise when they appear in spring.

A cutting tip: harvest alliums when the florets are mostly open and their color is vibrant. And don’t be surprised if you notice a bit of an onion scent when you cut them! I like to let them sit in water for a little while before adding them to an arrangement.

There’s something so rewarding about planting now for flowers you won’t see until next year. It feels like a little gift to your future self. 🌿

A bouquet that feels like it was gathered straight from the garden. 🤍🌿

We love letting the season lead the way—mixing dahlias, cosmos, delicate textures and trailing greenery to create wedding flowers that feel loose, natural and full of life.

If this is the kind of bouquet you’ve been dreaming about, we’d love to create something beautiful for your wedding day. 🌸

Fall is here, which means it’s time to start thinking about next spring’s flowers. 🌷

Tulips are one of my favorite signs of spring, but the work for those beautiful blooms begins months before we ever see them. Fall is the perfect time to get tulip bulbs into the ground before winter arrives.

We plant ours about 5 to 6 inches deep and fairly close together. Then comes the easiest part: waiting. There’s something so hopeful about planting a little brown bulb in the fall, knowing that months later it will become something this beautiful.

If you’d like to learn more about growing and enjoying your own flowers, my book Backyard Cutting Garden is available to purchase. It’s filled with lots of practical advice for planting, growing, cutting and arranging flowers throughout the seasons. 🌿

Ceremony flowers that make a statement. 🌿🌸

We love creating floral installations that feel like they belong in the landscape—loose, garden-inspired and filled with seasonal color. This arbor was designed to frame the ceremony beautifully without taking away from that gorgeous view.

Your ceremony space is where so many of the most important moments happen, and the flowers can make it feel even more special. 🤍
