I’m convinced my workplace is under some kind of cosmic jinx. One unexpected loss, one battling cancer, one broke his arm, and even an ex‑employee had a heart issue. At this point I’m afraid to sneeze too hard.

I’m pretty sure I know who jinxed us.
So here is my official tribute offering to him. May this protect me from whatever chaotic energy is flying around.

Behold: my embroidered Darth Vader, guardian of “please don’t let me be next.”

If this doesn’t appease the “jinxer”, nothing will.

Working on a wedding gift. I ripped the flowers apart at least 6 times. I’m not sure I’m satisfied still, but they will have to do.

I found this event called the Homemakers swap that’s held monthly at the Board Room in Grand Forks. It’s a free event that you bring 19 of one of your homemade items to swap with other creators/crafters. I thought it would be a fun way to get out of the house and meet new people (I know, shocker!). I started with keychains but decided I didn’t like how they were turning out - so went with sail boats instead. Whatcha think? Right choice?
