August, you were filled with site visits and beautiful progress on many projects.

One of my favorites is nearing the finish line, the EDS Hunting Lodge. It’s been so special watching this one come to life, layer by layer!

It’s been a busy summer at Element Design Studio! Three photoshoots, procurement for two whole-home projects, two complete design presentations, and so much more along the way.

None of it would have been possible without my amazing team!

This summer, tess vos joined EDS as a Design & Studio Intern, and I truly don’t know what we would have done without her. She jumped into everything with a positive attitude, learned quickly, and brought so much joy to the studio every day.

While we are sad to see her go, I am so excited to watch her continue to learn and grow. Join me in wishing Tess an amazing school year as she heads back to the University of Kentucky’s Interior Design program!

Sometimes the smallest changes make the biggest impact! 

My powder bathroom didn’t need a full renovation, just a few thoughtful cosmetic updates. We started by swapping the faucet and light fixture, but the real transformation came with wallpaper.

Kelly Ventura new Herbarium print in the Lake colorway completely transformed the space, bringing color, movement, and so much personality to this little room. I first spotted this pattern at High Point Market last spring and instantly fell in love.

To finish it off, we added a pleated sink skirt to soften the existing wall-mounted sink and give it a more tailored, collected feel.

It’s a reminder that you don’t always need major construction to create a space that feels completely new! 

Which detail is your favorite?

Polished Nickel faucet by Kingston Brass in a classic silhouette.

Kelly Ventura new Herbarium wallpaper in the Lake colorway. I’m obsessed!
