Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, grandfathers, stepdads, bonus dads, and father figures out there! We hope you have a wonderful day celebrating with the people you love.

Just a reminder that the studio will be closed from Sunday, June 21 through Sunday, June 28 while I am away on vacation spending time with family.

Before I go, here’s a look at everything happening in July!

✨ Christmas in July ceramic preorders are still open through the end of this week.
✨ The Makers Club welcomes some new members into our club at our next sessions on July 1 and July 2.
✨ Summer Camps kick off on July 6.
✨ We have lots of fun workshops, new projects, and creative opportunities planned throughout the month!

I’m still putting the finishing touches on our Christmas in July activities, so stay tuned for more details coming soon.

Well… here we are.

Yes, I know it’s Friday. And yes, I know the schedule says the studio is closed today.

But after seeing someone post on the local town page that they were hoping to come in and create today and were looking for somewhere else to go because we were closed, I started thinking…

I was already planning to be at the studio working on July workshop prep, finalizing the July calendar, getting everything ready for the next Makers Club session when I return from vacation, and organizing Summer Camps. So I figured, why not open the doors?

The studio will be open today from 1:00–6:00 PM for Open Studio time!

If you’ve been meaning to make a Father’s Day gift, finish a project, stock up on DIY kits for next week, celebrate the end of the school year, or just need a creative break, today is your chance. The studio will be closed all next week while I’m away on vacation, so come get your craft on before I leave!

We’re headed to the Poconos to meet up with some of my Wisconsin family, and I’m looking forward to a week of family time, relaxation, and hopefully a few adventures.

If you’ve been to the Poconos, tell me your must-see spots, favorite restaurants, hidden gems, or things we absolutely shouldn’t miss. Drop your recommendations in the comments!

Arlene stopped into the studio earlier this week with a birthday mission: create something special for her sister.

The challenge? Her sister is a creative Maker who has made just about everything!

After some brainstorming, we found a project she hadn’t tried yet…a photo embellished with crushed glass and shimmering glass accents. Then we got a little sneaky. We found a photo from her sister’s recent trip to Italy on Facebook, printed it out, and Arlene got to work creating a one-of-a-kind keepsake.

I have to say, I think she absolutely nailed it. The combination of the photo and the sparkling glass details makes it feel so unique and personal.

Loved tonight’s Patriotic Glass & Glimmer workshop! 🇺🇸

One of my favorite parts of these workshops is watching the creative process unfold. Seeing how each Maker approaches their project, chooses their materials, and brings their vision to life is always fascinating. No two pieces are ever alike, and tonight’s group brought so much creativity to the table.

And what a fun bunch they were! There were so many laughs, great conversations, and plenty of creative energy filling the studio all evening long.

Thank you to everyone who joined us tonight. I can’t wait to see you all back in the studio again soon!

Summer officially starts this Sunday. Know what else is Sunday? Father's Day. Come on over to the studio and create something to celebrate one or the other or both.

We have Open Studio today AND TOMORROW (FRIDAY) 1-6pm ...I know, we aren't normally open on Friday's but we will be tomorrow since we won't be open next week.

I hope to see you creative Makers today and/or tomorrow!!
