Latest project restoring/refinishing an old Table. This table belonged to my grandma Smith she always had her phone setting on it. It has been passed down and now sister owns it. It was really starting to show it age. Sis had to prop top up with a stack of books for support and this is when sis asked if I could fix it up.
So I took a Crack at it. Had to make a new side rail as original was warped and twisted which caused the structural issues. Made a jig to put spindle on the lathe for sanding. Made new support bracket and everything is now held with pocket screws. Hopefully this little gem will go another 100 years. Tried to maintain the "oldness" or spirit of the piece. Enjoy.

Mission accepted: been awhile since ive played in my shop. No projects so when this presented i got to work. Not going to lie i was a bit rusty but happy with end results. Was a good journey.
