This Saturday May 9th from 2-5pm at Wagbo Fiber + Folk, explore the world of natural dyes with color theory!
In this class, we will use natural dyes which impart each red, yellow, and blue – the primary colors. We will practice achieving secondary colors on silk fabric through overdyeing. Students will leave class with artful examples of their work in the form of silk scarves as well as a deepened understanding of naturals dyes and mixing colors.

Some throwbacks in this post!!
A shot of our past goat, Nubbins, with baby onesies that fit one of my human kids at the time! (They are almost 10 and 12 now)
Last photo is a throwback to a Crosshatch Center for Art & Ecology Skillswap at Earthwork Farm - oh hai Sierra LaRose!
"What is Wagbo Fiber + Folk?” you might ask.
Well, it is the latest iteration of grassroots fiber education happening at Wagbo Peace Center. It is what we have officially named what has been called the fiber arts classroom.
Please let me know if you want to get involved with steering or teaching!
