(Not true “arrangements” per se, just a few flowers in a jar, since I wasn’t able to clip any fillers before the frost got them.)

Brrr! Merry Frostmas! The gardens are officially taken out by the frost, but there are still treats to be had.

A couple of buckets of flowers that I picked before the frost will go out a little later once it’s warmed up for a grab and go type thing. Until then, stop by for some cookies, bread, and fun stuff.

P.S. Still gladly accepting jar donations to stock up for next year! Feel free to drop them off when you stop by. :)

So. Many. Cookies. And they’re all for you guys! And bread!

Bridget and I crushed it in the kitchen today, cranking out close to two hundred cookies!

There will be flowers, but I think they’ll be in buckets as a “take a few” kind of thing. Unless I feel inspired to put some together in the morning.

Hopefully you guys are able to brave the chilly morning and enjoy some goodies and crafted items. 🙂 I’ll put things out in waves: 8, 10, and 12. See ya then!

The (most likely) last of the season’s flowers are out on the stand this morning! Sixteen beautiful arrangements to close out the year, and some mini bread loaves.

Happy Saturday! The last Saturday on the stand! 😢

It was too dark to get pictures when I was putting the flowers out this morning before work, but here are the last flower buckets of the season from yesterday.

We have 15 arrangements, from teeeny to medium/large, and nine mini loaves of sourdough bread this morning. We will also be open tomorrow with a similar spread. 🙂

Welp. Spoke a little too soon. The frost did take out our community plot. 😢 So tomorrow there will just be a few out on the stand with what I can make out of the dahlias and what’s left of the zinnias.

BUT! There will also be some bread. 🙃

Phew! It didn’t frost here on Line Street, and the dahlias made it through the night!

That being said, the flowers have slowed wayyy down and I do think that Saturday may be our last day with flowers on the stand. 😢

But mark your calendars for Sunday October 18! My bestie Bridget and I are going to spend that Saturday baking in preparation for a “craft and bake sale” day! (still free, but what do you call a bake sale that just gives cookies away?) I’ll have some homemade tote bags, more cards, maybe some postcards, and the much loved potholders by Kathy LaCroix to give out to celebrate a great year on the stand.

If we have flowers still by then, I’ll obviously also gather what I can to join the crafts and goodies. 😉

✨3pm update: still a dozen arrangements left✨

The first wave of flowers is out, including some ADORABLE baby succulents thoughtfully donated by Michelle O’Connell! The filler foliage/flowers are a little lacking this week (and maybe for the rest of the year), so maybe a bit less polished than I’d like, but nevertheless the flowers are still beautiful!

And thanks to Catherine Shaw who left these little cute trinkets! They’ll guard the stand until they make their way to their next home. We spent the last week in Portland, and they had all these super fun trinket exchanges, so how cool to come home and find someone left us these!
