Designing within constraints often leads to the most thoughtful solutions. With multiple access points into the kitchen, existing doors and windows to work around, and existing walls to accommodate, this layout came with its challenges.

But we met our client's wishlist:

✔ Thoughtful pantry storage in otherwise dead space behind refrigerator

A layered approach to accommodate many functions into a space.

This kitchen thoughtfully integrates dining, pantry, and laundry—all guided by a strategic approach to flexibility and flow. A series of doors with varying levels of transparency allows areas to be opened up or screened off as needed—giving homeowners the freedom to conceal the everyday mess when entertaining.

The layered transparency keeps the space feeling open and expansive, while a flush ceiling hood helps maximize volume in an otherwise compact kitchen.

It’s all about smart, intentional design.
