Hey all, wanted to pop in and say hey, & I hope you all are enjoying this cozy fall season. 🍂
I haven’t been very active on social media or been seen at pop-up markets, which seems odd for me as it’s my busiest season! I wanted to pop in and let you all know Oak Wick is still here, available locally and online via my Etsy shop. 😊 (check my bio at the top of the page to see where you can find Oak Wick locally 🤎)
The past few years I’ve poured my hard work, energy, and SOO much time into building this really great thing and I am proud of what I’ve been able to accomplish.. it definitely was not easy and has challenged me countless times.
All of that hard work does come at a price. Could I take Oak Wick further- absolutely, I have a hell of a work ethic, and love challenging myself, but that price tag is too spendy for me. Keeping up with trends, content creating, posting.. is bluntly, a huge pain in the ass, feels forced, and makes my craft feel like a chore.
I’m enjoying the slower seasons of life with my family and friends, raising my children, living in real moments and making memories. Oak Wick is just coexisting with that, keeping my craft enjoyable and meaningful ❤️
So heres a post, no catchy content or trending audio.. just me thriving, living a more balanced life, letting y’all know I’m still here with Oak Wick, and enjoying the real moments while they’re still here. 🤗 🕯️ ❤️
Keep putting your hard work into your trade, business, or whatever it is that floats your boat, and always challenge yourself, especially when you think you can’t. Just don’t forget to live in the real world, those moments don’t last forever. ❤️- Shelby
