Part 5 of postcards to my nephew!

EGGCELENT!

This color reminded me of the yoke of a fried egg. 🍳 I’m not much of an egg person personally and I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever had one. I had fun painting this nonetheless, plus, I think Kingsley will get a kick out of it!

Part 4 of postcards to my nephew!

I had my partner pick out a color from the lot and this gorgeous blue he picked made me want to paint this stack of blueberry pancakes on a platter you’d find at grandmas.

Kingsley happens to love blueberries and pancakes and blueberry pancakes. Second pic is of us at the patch last summer.

Red Rooster!
My sister and I grew up on a farm and it’ll be fun for Emily to talk to King about how the roosters chased us around the property.

This was particularly fun to draw/paint and reminisce about how funny and mean these guys were.

Part 2 of postcards to my nephew!

Kingsley gained a brother last week named Theodore and it’s a very exciting time for everyone involved! Being the older sibling, I know how hard of a transition it can be for a kiddo his age (Kingsley was made a big brother at the same age I was made a big sister). Transitions are hard and hopefully this snail mail will help make him feel special.

Welcome to my latest project that I have started working on, postcards for my nephew!

Back in December of 2025, I moved to Milwaukee to be with my partner and close the long distance we were navigating. This, in turn, created distance between my sweet nephew, Kingsley, and me, meaning I have to get creative to stay as connected as possible.

A dear friend of mine has the coolest postcards she decorates with stickers from Pantone and has sent out over the last few years. So, with inspiration from her and others on the internet, I decided to get my own pack and start theme painting the postcards and to them off to King as a surprise here and there. Often, when we are together, we work on art or something creative, so this project will be a great tool to keep me working on my skills and, more importantly, to keep me connected to one of the most important people in my life.

Please enjoy as I create and post these over time (or don’t, don’t let anyone tell you what to do.)

Hello!!

I wanted to share more of a project I have been working on and proud of! I created a coloring book to honor and help celebrate my talented granny, who takes the most stunning photos of wildlife. 25 hand drawn coloring pages (not a single ounce of ai) that highlight the birds and butterflies who have visited her in the past. Hi! Back again with a new project I’ve been working on.

I published a coloring book in honor of my granny. She’s a phenomenal photographer and takes stunning photos of the nature around her. This book is 25 coloring pages hand drawn from grannys photos and 25 note pages (to help with marker bleeding and a nice place to jot thoughts down). Perfect for bird and butterfly lovers and a nice way to help pass the cold winter months coming soon.
