Thank you SMOKE: Texas BBQ & Watering Hole. Our employees are blessed by the community support and for your generosity.

Take a bow Harlingen! Y’all showed up for Johnny’s employees in a big way last Saturday.

We were able to sell 355 plates and collect additional monetary donations for a grand total of $4,810.60….we went ahead and rounded that up to an even $5,000.00

This was truly a team effort and demonstrated how our community shows up for one another. We would like to thank our staff for “making it happen”, like they always do and Mr. Felix Sanchez, from Platillos, for contributing their delicious rice.

Lastly, none of this would have been possible without YOU and your generosity. Thank you!

Thank you to everyone who went out to Stefanos Brooklyn Pizza on 7/30 and 7/31. We are so moved and gracious for the outpouring of community support for our employees.

We are excited to share that Blanquita's - "San Benito" (190 N Oscar Williams Rd) is partnering with Yo Mama Bubble Tea & Health Bar (240 S Oscar Williams Rd, San Benito) for a BBQ Chicken plate sale on August 30th from 11a - 3p. You can buy your ticket for $15 at either Blanquitas San Benito or Yo Mama's Bubble Tea and Health Bar beginning this Sunday. Plate pick up will be at Yo Mama's Bubble Tea on August 30th.

Harlingen and the Rio Grande Valley, thank you for your support and love over the last few days and the weeks and months ahead. Many have asked -- what can we do?

-We have a store in Ed Couch, Johnny's Hardware (401 W Santa Rosa Ave, Edcouch, TX 78538). While we may not have everything we did at Harlingen, we will greet you with a smile and work hard to get you what you need. Showing up and still doing your shopping with Johnny's will help us! If you had an account at Harlingen we can and will transfer that to Ed Couch.
-We are looking for ways to support our staff as they navigate next steps - many who have been with us for many, many years. Please do get in touch with JR if you want to help us support them, help them find an opportunity, or for us to come together as a work family.
