The difference is in the prep. 👏
This floor had previously been “repaired,” but unfortunately, the concrete subfloor was left uneven, patchy, and nowhere near ready for a proper flooring installation. Notice the hairline cracks in these before pictures.
So instead of covering up someone else’s work and hoping for the best, we tore out the failed repairs and started over the right way.
We properly prepped the existing concrete, addressed the damaged and uneven areas, and poured a new level surface to create the solid, smooth foundation the new flooring actually needs.
✨ Before: Uneven concrete, failed patchwork & improper repairs
✨ After: Smooth, properly prepared & ready for a beautiful new floor
A beautiful floor is only as good as what’s underneath it — and sometimes the most important part of a renovation is the part you’ll never see when we’re finished.
