So, I sharpen knives. Kitchen knives, pocket knives, hunting knives.

My pricing is pretty simple.

I charge $2 per inch of blade length for a knife that's just dull.

If the knife needs chips or nicks worked out of the edge, there is an upcharge to $3 per inch. If the blade is badly damaged, send me pictures and I'll price individually

If you'd like a mirrored bevel for show, that adds a dollar an inch as well.

Serrated knives are a different thing entirely. Please contact me for more information on sharpening serrations.

What happens when you use a belt sharpener wrong.

Note the heel of the blade in the "before" picture. This is where the moving belt never made contact with the cutting edge and steel was left. Do it too many times and you have a big recurve part in your blade that takes a lot of work to repair.

And remember, the tip of your knife isn't a pry bar,
