Cutting Wipperwilly today, and feeling really grateful.

Soap making has become such a fun and creative outlet for me, and I’m thankful to be able to share natural products made with care for your everyday skin care routine. Every bar has its own story, and Wipperwilly is one that always makes me smile.

We’ve got many more products coming soon, so stay tuned and keep following along to see what’s next.

Making a new batch of Wipperwilly today and adding lavender flowers to the top for a new color additive.

Wipperwilly has such a fun story behind it. That is what my husband calls weeping willows because he can never remember their real name. So now, in our front yard, we have a “Wipperwilly.” We also had a beautiful one in our backyard that we planted when we moved in 10 years ago, but it broke in the 2020 ice storm. It grew back, but then a crazy 80 mph wind storm a few years later blew it over for good. It was definitely a sad day for our backyard.

So this bar carries a little bit of that story with it, and now you know the meaning behind the name too.

Out at guthriefleamarket and got a “tester” drink from our friends at Shannon McNeil-Resendiz. As our son would say, “Bruh…” their drinks are amazing! 🔥 this one is their piña colada lemonade drink with real lemon, pineapple and coconut flakes, and I think it will make a great new addition to their already amazing list of drinks. We LOVE their Cherry Bombs. (It’s a duurty Dr. Pepper with cherry) they even have fresh fruit cups that are made in their booth and you have to try their watermelon with Tajin on it! Come check them out at The Guthrie Flea Market, but while you’re here you can also come see us!

As I cut open a fresh batch of Garden Rose, the whole room starts to fill with the soft scent of roses, like it’s blossoming through our home. There’s something so special about that first cut — seeing the inside for the first time and watching a bar come to life with a scent that feels calm, beautiful, and full.

These bars will be ready for purchase by the end of June, and I can’t wait for this soap to carry its rose scent into your home too.
