Working with my father in construction for 28 years has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. What started as a job quickly became a masterclass in hard work, resilience, and pride in doing things the right way. Day after day, I watched someone who didn’t just build structures — they built trust, integrity, and a reputation you could stand on.
Over the years, we faced long days, tight deadlines, tough projects, and plenty of “figure it out” moments. But every challenge came with a lesson. My father taught me how to use tools, read plans, and solve problems — but more importantly, how to show up, stay humble, and give your best no matter what the day looks like.
Not everyone gets the chance to spend nearly three decades working side by side with a parent. I’m grateful for the laughs, the arguments, the early mornings, the late nights, and everything in between. We didn’t just build homes and buildings — we built a lifetime of memories that I’ll always carry with me.
