I wanted to thank everyone that stopped by today for my opening. I didn't have a lot of people, but everyone was very nice and encouraging. I had a few sales and received many compliments on my creations. Please come again! If you need anything, just drop me a message and I'll try to accommodate you. I don't have set hours yet, but I am usually home on the weekends.

I am so sorry about not posting anything for the past two weeks. I have been so sick! It's still lingering, but I am so much better. I was able to piddle around a little bit, so I have a few pictures. First, my husband brought home a bunch of wrought iron scraps, an old picture frame, and an old metal cat. I had already started cleaning the picture frame before I took the photo. I'm open to any ideas you may have. Secondly, I made a tassel out of one of my chandelier parts, and another tassel from the bobeche of the same antique chandelier. I've got a lot to do to get open in the next two weeks. I had not planned on being sick for 16 days.

About 3 years ago I acquired an antique Capodimonte chandelier. I started to take it apart but when I saw it was made in Spain, I decided to investigate it. I found one that was exactly like it and worth $1200. I decided to leave it alone, until now. Even though it was worth a lot of money, I would have to find someone crazy enough to give me that much for it. So, I decided to take it apart and use the pieces. I have so many ideas for the pieces! First picture is the whole chandelier. The rest are the parts.

My latest creation is this cute little snowman ornament carefully crafted from several different pieces of vintage jewelry and hung with a red velvet ribbon. It may not show in the picture, but his hat is sapphire blue. $20.
