Well…look who FINALLY decided to show up. 🍂

FALL. 🤎

The cooler mornings are here, the windows can finally be opened, and suddenly all I want is a cozy blanket, a warm drink, and something simmering on the stove.

I’ve been pretending it was fall for weeks…but now it actually FEELS like it.

And honestly? This is my favorite kind of weather.

Class Update

We wanted to share a quick update that our Autumn Orchard Simmer Pot Workshop scheduled for October 15 at Catnip Cottage has been canceled.

While we’re disappointed we won’t be gathering around the simmer pot bar this time, we’re already looking ahead to future opportunities to bring our hands-on workshops back. 🤎

Thank you to everyone who continues to support CC Creations, our workshops, and our little business. We appreciate you more than you know.

The part of small business you don’t always see.

It’s easy to see the finished products, the pretty booth, or the table all set up and ready for an event.

What you don’t always see are the hours spent sitting just like this.

Coffee in hand.
Notebook open.
Planning. Researching. Designing. Making lists. Changing the plan. And then probably changing it again.

There is so much time that goes into a small business before a single product ever makes it onto a table.

And strangely enough…this is one of my favorite parts.

Taking an idea that only exists in my head and slowly figuring out how to make it real.

Hello, Fall. We’ve been waiting for you.

Today is officially the Fall Equinox, and around here that means it’s finally acceptable to go ALL IN on cozy.

Simmer pots on the stove.
Apples and cinnamon everywhere.
Warm showers and cozy scents.
Windows cracked open just enough to let that cool air in.
And absolutely no pretending we’re sad to see summer go.

At CC Creations, fall might just be our favorite season for creating. Everything about it feels like home, warm, comforting, and made to slow you down just a little.

Confession: out of ALL the things I dehydrate for simmer pots… apples are my favorite. 🍎

I don’t know what it is, but there’s just something about an apple simmering with a little cinnamon, citrus, or herbs that makes the whole house feel cozy.

If I’m making a blend for myself, chances are there are apples in it.
