A little peek into how I modify existing Funkos to make them look like you! Today I’m showing you how I remove hair from a male piece and turn it into a baldy. Happens far more often than you could imagine. Love you.

There’s a shortage of ADHD medication in the United States and people have said they don’t believe in ADHD? Like they were saying they don’t believe there’s an ocean, or trees. So as I sat here thinking, I need a nap. Hey what if I go spend $300 on Bills shirts. Should I go get my baby now? I realized this is under medicated Ang, and wanted to crack the door open to my brain and let you peek inside. Love you

HOW TO GET YOUR KID OFF THE IPAD OR SWITCH IN A FEW EASY STEPS:

1) Constantly teach them how cool drummers are;
2) Get a drum kit;
3) Make them feel like one of the cool drummers by getting them into drum lessons and showing them drumming videos at bedtime;
4) Play their kit while they’re glued to a screen to bait them into returning to their throne;
5) Sit back and enjoy the show. 💙

The thing I love about you is that you see the world and think, how can I make this better? Whether it’s through music, or art, or sports, or just being a mensch, everything your hands touch is made better by your intervention.

My skill set is extraordinarily niche and hardly any of this is transferable to the real world, but I know you all love a good craft, so here are some tools and materials you can add to your repertoire. Shoot me a message any time if you have questions or need help with anything. Love you 💙

I just feel like I should mention that I wish sometimes that I had the decency to filter myself in my videos but since the world is starved for realness, here ya go

I’ve had the privilege of sharing life with people whose absence is felt profoundly. Today, I especially remember the friends who are gone far too soon. Men whose lives brought joy and hope and sunshine to every room they entered. Men who made the world better by simply existing in it.

USAF Captain Sean Ruane graduated from the ROTC program my Alma Mater and soon earned his wings. He flew the HH60-G Pave Hawk in three tours of duty in Iraq and two tours in Afghanistan, and is responsible for saving the lives of no fewer than 131 of his fellow countrymen. Sean was lost in 2014. Learn more about the foundation set up by his family here:

USAF Captain Joseph Gauthier was one of the funniest people I’ve ever known in my life. He could nerd out about airplanes and Monty Python and leave every gathering marveling at how one person could be so quick with the quips. He’s been gone since 2010 and the world will always be just a little dimmer without him.

USN AM2 Edgar Lopez was one of those people whose laugh sings in every pair of ears that ever had the honor of hearing it. He was a true friend, living and breathing dedication and loyalty. He was so funny that we still quote him and swap memes and say “Lopez would have loved this.” He’s been gone a decade, which feels impossible.

Emily, Smitty, Caldwell, Jackson, and all the other friends who served with pride and honor, whose place at the table will be empty, but whose place in our hearts could never be. 💙❤️

The cool thing about insomnia is that I come up with some fun ideas while sleep eludes me. The less cool thing is that the ex*****on of said ideas isn’t always that tight. Enjoy this failed screen printing endeavor this morning, and hope some white puff paint expertly applied to the lettering can fix things. Love you. Go Bills 💙❤️

Can’t even imagine how proud I feel watching my dude absolutely tear the kit up like this. Thank you, School of Rock and all his awesome instructors! 💙

Alright you know I love my military community and am always seeking out ways to help you guys thrive with discounts and resources galore. After staying at Disney resorts for the last decade, we finally gave Shades of Green resort, a military hotel on property leased to the military by Disney, a shot, and I’m so glad we did. We did a ton of recon beforehand and now that the trip is over, I have a decent review to send your way so if you and your family wants to stay there on your next Disney trip, you know what to expect.

1) ROOMS: Bigger than Disney hotel rooms we’ve stayed in, and every room has its own balcony. Housekeeping comes every day which, these days, is a luxury.

2) RESTAURANTS: a cafe in the lobby that serves Starbucks drinks, a fancier Italian restaurant, a poolside sports bar/pub, a casual restaurant that offers sit-down, take-out, and room delivery. A 14” pizza, 8 wings, and a 2-liter was $35. So, prices are very decent.

3) GIFT SHOP: tax-free NEX by the lobby. The Disney merch was not sweet and options very limited on that front, but the mini-NEX element was great, and now that I know it’s an option, I’ll get our stash of waters for the park and snacks from there next time rather than getting from Walmart and driving them down with us.

4) DISNEY TRANSPORTATION: There are two buses, one goes to Disney Springs/Animal Kingdom/Hollywood Studios, and one goes to the Transportation/Ticket Center where you catch a monorail to Magic Kingdom or Epcot. Buses run every 20 minutes and require photo ID from all adults to board. We timed how long it took between leaving our room and arriving at park gates, and it was a total of 30 minutes, bus and monorail included. The buses go straight from the resort to the park and don’t make 50 stops like the Disney buses do, and once you’re done for the day, the pickup spot is front and center. One downside is that the queue formation is undefined and results in confusion and some pushing and shoving if you have an unlucky encounter with a dependa in the wild. Most everyone was civilized as you’d expect from people well trained in the art of “liberty call.”

Send me a message if you have any questions! Love you 💙

It’s Teacher Appreciation Week and for a double-whammy, May’s Mensch of the Month is a teacher! Ms. Castelow is a ball of sunshine and positivity and comfort, teaching grammar and math and history, and also kindness and compassion. The lessons she imparts on the kids who come through her door will last a lifetime and set off profound ripples of goodness through the world that desperately needs it. Thank you so much for everything you do, Ms. Castelow! 💙
