These colors are killing me! I'm so excited to start this epic beautiful stitch but this first block is killing me. I wasn't fond of the colors on the picture because they are so different from the other 13 but when I bought the called colors they are BEAUTIFUL! (And completely different) That said, isn't the bird a peacock? Arent peacocks blue? Thinking of making him a turkey to commemorate my Mayflower ancestors. Thoughts?

I thought I would share the "hug curtain" I created for my Mom. She was so depressed not being able to see and hug her grandbabies. I took a dollar store shower curtain liner and hooks, sliced holes and taped long gloves in the holes going both ways. Then hung it over the door. It can be moved out of the way when not in use.. Its not pretty but has been a light in the darkness.
