Two weeks of antiquing in Provence… here’s a little peek at what I found. 🇫🇷

This trip looked a little different. No big professional-only markets this time. Instead, I spent two weeks wandering through small towns, early-morning brocantes and antique shops—taking my time and seeing what I could find.

And I loved it.

There was time to dig, time to chat with sellers, hear the stories behind pieces and start building relationships with people I hope to visit again on future trips.

Some days were fruitful, some days were a complete bust—that’s the hunt. But piece by piece, a collection started coming together.

Here’s a little sneak peek at a few of the pieces coming home with me. I can’t wait to share the rest. 🇫🇷

There’s shopping in France... and then there’s L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue.

Wandering from one antique shop to the next, never quite knowing what’s waiting around the corner - a painting, a piece of old French pottery, something I’ve never seen before.

This is the part of sourcing I love most: the hunt.
Taking you along for a little afternoon of antiquing in Provence.

SAVE THE DATE ✨ OCTOBER 24 | KOHLER, WI

Something special is coming this fall.

Pieces collected across three sourcing trips to France — April, August & September — will all come together for one in-person pop-up in Kohler.

And even better news: my April shipment is officially on its way and expected to arrive at the end of this month! 🇫🇷

Months of early mornings, brocantes, winding village roads, paintings, pottery and pieces I couldn’t leave behind… all coming together in one place.

October 24th — save the date.

More details soon. 🤍

In just a few days, I’ll be wandering through brocantes, flea markets, and villages across Provence, searching for pieces with history, character, and soul.

Every buying trip is a little different, and that’s part of the magic. You never know what you’ll discover around the next corner.

Before I leave, I’d love to know…

What would you love to see me bring back for Indigo?

Original paintings? French stoneware? Majolica? Small furniture? Mirrors? Or something completely unexpected?

Leave your wish list in the comments—I may just find it.

I’m heading back to Provence soon, which means it’s time to make room for another collection of thoughtfully sourced European antiques.

Starting at 4:00 PM CST in Stories, I’ll be sharing special price adjustments on select pieces—including many items that have never been listed on the website.

This is a great opportunity to shop both website favorites and hidden finds before I head back to France.

See you in Stories at 4:00!

Maybe this is where it all began.

Around five years old, I told my dad I wanted to host a summer carnival in our backyard.

He helped me make it happen—right down to the hats.

He taught me to dream big, to create something special for others, and to believe that ideas are worth bringing to life.

Years later, I still find so much joy in creating experiences, whether it’s sourcing antiques in France, setting up a market, or welcoming someone into the Indigo story.

Funny how the threads of our lives begin so early.
