Sometimes we get so busy with everyday life that we forget about the little things that can make such a HUGE difference. Please take a few minutes today to check your smoke detectors, change the batteries if needed, and make sure everyone in your home knows what to do if that alarm ever goes off.

A house fire can happen in minutes and change everything. ❤️

This hits especially close to home right now because my neighbor Kathy lost her home in a devastating house fire. Her home is essentially a total loss, and she did not have homeowners insurance. She has already been through a lot over the last few years, and now she is facing the unimaginable task of starting over.

So I've decided that **ALL of my proceeds from next week's farmers market will go directly to Kathy.** ❤️

I know my little business isn't going to replace a home, but if we all do a little, maybe we can help take some of the weight off her shoulders and remind her that she isn't alone.

🇺🇸 **Labor Day Monday… and I am TIRED.** 😴😂

You know what nobody tells you about having a “day off”?

Sometimes it’s just a day to catch up on everything you didn’t have time to do because you’ve been working! 😂

Between school, my babies (aka my plants), keeping up with life AND keeping Made With Love FireC***r & More going… this girl is ready for a nap. 🫠

So today I’m giving myself permission to **slow down, breathe, and rest a little.** ❤️

If you’re tired too, consider this your sign:

🌿 **Wellness Monday** 🌿

Well... it's Monday again! 😂🍎

School is officially in full swing, and I'm pretty sure teachers deserve a medal for surviving these first few weeks! 🏅🤣

When life gets busy, I try to remind myself that wellness doesn't have to be complicated. Sometimes it's just about the little things we can consistently fit into our day.

💧 Drink some water.
🥗 Eat something nourishing.
😴 Get some rest.
🌿 Take a few minutes to breathe.
❤️ Give yourself a little grace.

❤️ **Sunday Story** ❤️

Happy Sunday, friends! 🌿

This week has been another busy one between school, my students, and keeping up with **Made With Love FireC***r & More**.

Some weeks I'm really good at balancing everything... and other weeks I'm just doing my best to keep all the plates spinning! 😂

But even during the crazy weeks, I’m reminded how much I love what I do.

🍎 I love my students.
🌿 I love making my products.
🍯 I love sharing recipes and ideas with all of you.
❤️ And I especially love that these two very different parts of my life can coexist.

And because I know firsthand how many **germs teachers are exposed to all day long** 😂🍎, I wanted to do something special for my fellow educators.

🍴 **Recipe Saturday!** 🍴

Today’s recipe comes from my beautiful friend **Elvira**, who went to culinary school—and I absolutely love this one because it's proof that **not every delicious meal has to be pretty!** 😂

Her words: *“It was not a pretty recipe. LOL. It was a use-what's-in-your-kitchen recipe.”*

And honestly... those are sometimes the BEST recipes! 🙌

🍣🥒 **Elvira's "Use What You Have" Tuna Rice Bowl** 🥑

**Tuna Salad:**
🐟 Tuna
🥄 Mayo
🌶️ Sriracha
🥢 Soy sauce
🌿 Sesame oil

**Cucumber Salad:**
🥒 Sliced cucumber
🥑 Avocado
🧂 Salt & pepper
🫚 Ginger paste
🍎 A splash of **Made With Love Fire C***r vinegar**

👉 Mix the cucumber salad ingredients together and pop it in the fridge for about **15 minutes**.

🍚 Warm up some already-cooked rice.

Then... **put it all together!** 🙌

Elvira said it would have been even better with seaweed wrappers, but she had run out. 😫

And that's exactly what I love about this recipe!

And adding some of my vinegar to that cucumber salad?! YES PLEASE! 😍

🌕🌑 **Did You Know Thursday — Full Moon Edition** 🌑🌕

Tonight is a pretty special night! ✨

We have a **Full Moon + Lunar Eclipse**, and it feels like the perfect reminder that everything has its own cycle.

Just like the moon moves through phases, life does too. 🌙

Sometimes we're in a season of growing.
Sometimes we're in a season of slowing down.
Sometimes we need to step back, rest, and reset.

And with school being SO busy lately, I'm definitely reminding myself of that! 😂🍎

Tonight, take a few minutes to step outside, look up, breathe deeply, and slow down.

✨ Make space for what's next.
✨ Let go of what you can't control.
✨ Be grateful for how far you've come.
