Some things deserve to be ghosted. Your designer is NOT one of them. 👻😂

This season, we're saying goodbye to last-minute decisions, unnecessary change orders, overlooked details, and choosing pretty over practical.

Because the only thing scarier than a haunted house? A remodel without a plan. 💀

Good design starts LONG before the pretty finishes go in. And trust me, a little planning now can save you from some pretty frightening surprises later. 🎃✨

Moody florals + rich textures? Say less. 🖤🌿

I love a space that has a little drama. Layering deeper tones, bold florals, and tactile textures adds depth and personality without making a room feel overdone.

Sometimes the best spaces aren’t meant to feel light and airy—they’re meant to make you feel something. ✨

Ordering custom cabinetry finishes is basically ordering a coffee at Starbucks… but make it VERY expensive. 😂☕️

“I’ll take a warm white, not too creamy, with a subtle glaze, a natural wood accent, a specific sheen, and absolutely NO yellow undertones.”

Oh, and can we see that in three different lighting situations? 👀

To everyone else, it sounds like the world's most complicated coffee order.

To me? It's Tuesday. 😉

Because when you're investing in custom cabinetry, the color, finish, texture, and every tiny detail matter.

And yes, I WILL be that specific about your cabinets. ✨

I'm begging you to stop designing for your imaginary guests. Let's face it, Y=your mother-in-law visits twice a year. Why does she get an entire room? 😂

Formal dining rooms nobody uses? Oversized guest rooms? Entertaining spaces designed for hypothetical parties vs. spaces the homeowners actually need every day?

Design for the 360 days YOU live there.

You see 12 shades of the exact same color. I see 12 VERY different decisions. 😂🎨

Warm undertones. Cool undertones. A little too much yellow. A hint of green. The one that looks perfect in natural light but completely different at night. 👀

And yes, I can tell the difference.

Because choosing colors isn't just about what looks pretty on a sample. It's about how they work with your cabinetry, flooring, countertops, lighting, and the entire feel of your home.

So when I tell you two colors that look identical are actually VERY different… just trust me on this one. 😉

It's all in the details. And those details are kind of my thing. ✨

Who says job site days can’t be fun? 😂🚙

Driving from project to project, checking progress, solving problems, and making sure every detail is coming together is all part of the job.

A little work, a little chaos, and a lot of fun along the way. 😉

If everyone has to move so you can open the dishwasher… we need to talk. 😂

When I design a kitchen, I’m thinking about how you’ll actually move through it—where you prep, cook, clean, unload, and gather.

I design around those everyday routines to eliminate awkward bottlenecks, unnecessary steps, and the dreaded kitchen traffic jam.

Your kitchen should work with you—not make you do laps. 🏃‍♀️✨

One of my favorite parts of the design process? Showing a client the choices we’ve made for their project. 😍

There’s something so fun about laying out the materials, finishes, colors, and details together and watching them see the vision come to life.

It’s the moment all those individual decisions start to feel like their space. ✨

Not every room needs a “moment.” Sometimes, **the design IS the moment.** ✨

It’s not always about one dramatic light fixture, bold wall, or statement piece stealing the show.

Sometimes it’s the way the materials flow together. The proportions feel right. The lighting hits exactly where it should. The details repeat just enough. And the entire room simply *works*.

No gimmicks. No forced focal point. Just really good design doing what it’s supposed to do. 🤌

Your kitchen counter clutter might be telling on your floor plan. 👀

When I walk into a kitchen, I’m not just looking at the finishes, I’m looking at what consistently ends up on the counters.

Mail piling up? You may need a designated drop zone.
Appliances always left out? Your storage might not match how you actually cook.
Water bottles everywhere? There may not be an easy place for them to live.
Charging cords taking over an outlet? Your electrical plan might not support your daily routine.

Clutter isn’t always an organization problem. Sometimes, it’s a design problem.

Good design pays attention to your habits and creates a place for the things you actually use—because a beautiful kitchen should work just as well as it looks. ✨
