After school can be a tricky time. Everyone needs something different.…homework support, cuddles, words of affirmation, quiet time, music, attention, physical play, conversation….oh and dinner somehow needs to be made. I find simple invitations like this to be simple and soothing in this school aged bewitching hours. Put out a wooden box leftover from an old toy, hole punchers of various sizes, scissors, and a tray to collect nature objects...the fun was theirs to create.

Our limited quantity witchy brew kits come with 3 colors of fizzy mix, 1 vial of “activator” and some spooky loose parts to add to your concoction. also, included is a silicone cauldron which can be repurposed as a baking cup! $15 for one kit or 3 for $40! Color fizzers-A favorite sensory bin activity and it’s super easy/inexpensive to set up with minimal mess! All you do is add a few drops of food coloring to each compartment of an ice cube tray. Next, cover the food coloring with a layer of baking soda so the color underneath is not visible. Grab some eye droppers and fill a cup with half water/half white vinegar. Your little one guesses what color is going to appear and then checks their guess by squeezing a dropperful of the vinegar into the section. Fizzing magic! Afterwards we freeze the cubes for another sensory activity day.
