Alrighty folks, I can't believe it but we are slowly creeping up on our 3 year anniversary. With that being said, every week we still get people in the shop who say "I live in Elkton and I had no idea you all were here." Perhaps we haven't had the best signage but we've always had a giant flag, a bifold sign, and we try to put things out on the street to show what we offer. We finally decided to ask a local artist to jazz up our windows a bit. Thank you Heidi Riddell for helping us to be a bit more visible. As always, online shares are appreciated and help us tremendously by letting people in nearby towns (and the ones in Elkton who still don't know about us) know we're there. In addition to vintage items, we have a nice selection of reasonably priced cards, gifts, games/ puzzles, jewelry, and gently used clothing. Open Fridays and Saturdays 11-4.

Thank you Cheyenne for this amazing find! I am Becky, I love mushrooms (not in the trendy way but in the always have, always will way), and I have definitely been known to mix up some pretty unique concoctions. I'm also a bit of an old world Anglophile and appreciate this spelling of the word shop.

Over the couple years that we've had our Airbnb, we've been asked quite a few times where we got our little birds above our door. I picked them up somewhere along the way and painted them gold and put them up just so people knew they had the right place when they arrived. Welp, if anyone else wants their own sweet set of birds, these cuties just came in over the weekend. Vintage, made in the USA, and made of hard plastic so they will hold up nicely in weather. $23 for the set of 3.

PSA..... Nearly all FB and Instagram accounts posting too good to be true and controversial content are getting paid for it. Have you seen someone post a video of a ridiculous project that makes no sense at all? Have you seen someone post too good to be true, massive piles of free stuff on the street? Every comment, share, click, and extra minute of viewing puts money in their pocket through monetization. Make sure you look at who's writing the content, especially on pages where you don't know who runs the page. If you don't know them and you don't know who's writing it, skip over it! AI has made the internet a scarier place and I personally will do all that I can to support real people, not AI bots. Here are a few examples....

I was torn about whether or not to show this because I wasn't sure if I would be able to fit it in the van. I decided to go ahead and show it so I'm forced to bring my A game to van loading tetris. The glass isn't shown but it does have all three pieces and it's in pristine condition. It, along with everything else, will be in the shop this week.
