Before our clients walk through the doors, we’re lining up every selection for their new Suncadia mountain home with Edie Homes — tile selections, grout samples, cabinet finishes, hardware, plumbing, lighting, flooring, wallcoverings, millwork, and paint… all of it layered together so they can see how the full story comes to life.

This is where the details really matter.
The undertone of the grout against the tile.
The scale of the cabinet pulls.
The sheen of the paint.
The function and flow.
How the tile moves from sample to wall and floor layouts.

These are the decisions that elevate a home from standard to exceptional — and most people don’t realize how much refinement happens in this phase. We’ve already edited, refined, priced, reworked, and curated so that today feels cohesive and clear instead of overwhelming. That’s part of the luxury experience.

Now it’s time to steam the linens, prep the space, set out the food, and get ready to walk them through every thoughtful choice.

This is one of my favorite parts of the process — when vision turns tangible. These incredible clients have been an absolute joy to work with and have a great team to help guide along the way.

It takes more than one person to run Canyons Design & Interiors.

While I may be the face you see most often, the truth is this business has grown because of the people behind it. What once was just me is now a team of four, and this May we’ll be expanding to five as we welcome a Business Development & Operations Coordinator to support our next chapter of growth.

But today, I really want to pause and talk about Brittany.

Brittany has been by my side for 15+ years — through life, through business, through all the messy, exciting, exhausting, and rewarding seasons in between. She’s not just a team member; she’s my great friend, my constant, and someone I truly could not do this without.

She is always there.
Always willing to jump in.
Always positive.
Always up for a challenge.
Always learning.

Whether it’s business or life, Brittany shows up — and that kind of loyalty, heart, and dedication is rare.

Canyons Design & Interiors is what it is today because of teamwork, trust, and people who care deeply about what we’re building together. I’m beyond grateful for this season of growth, and especially grateful for the people who make it possible.

Day 2! All about furnishings and textiles. With 6 furnishings projects in full swing we spent the day sit testing, feeling textiles, and confirming comfort so each selection we make is the just right fit for our clients.

She is jewel-toned and luminous.
Wrapped in warm, rich browns.
Bold in the way that doesn’t ask permission —
only presence.

True luxury isn’t neutral for the sake of trend.
It’s knowing yourself deeply enough to choose what makes you feel alive.
It’s rooms that reflect your spirit, not someone else’s rules.

Color wasn’t added.
It was revealed.
