The world lost two iconic women in the last couple of weeks, Gloria Steinem and Dolly Parton. Let’s celebrate them and honor their important work and legacy. So support a woman owned business this weekend. It doesn’t have to be me, but I would love it! I will always cheer on other women, lift them up, and fight for our rights 💜👊🏻

✨ End of August garden update. It’s the dahlias time to shine! Lot’s of other cut flowers will keep pushing out new blooms until first frost as well. I will have flowers through the fall! Link is in my bio to reserve one for this weekend or visit the flower stand 💐

There are also some not so pretty parts of the garden by this time and I didn’t hide those from you. Bug pressure is heavy. I lost some vegetables to them. The zinnias are prone to diseases due to the humidity, and the leaves start to look ugly, but they can be stripped off. They also toppled over and I should have supported them higher up as well. I already have a list of things I will do differently next year! 🤗

I hope you enjoy seeing the full garden! My flower source is my literal backyard where I built this and grew these flowers!

Just some of my homegrown flower bouquets that made it into the hands of my wonderful customers this weekend! You all are amazing!! This weekend I made the most bouquets to date AND sold out! Thank you for making my weekend! I absolutely loved receiving pictures from customers of their flowers bringing them joy in their home! I don’t grow + sell my flowers just to sell flowers. It is my side hustle as a full-time working mom of 3 young kids as it helps with the increasing costs of raising a family, but it brings me joy and I love what comes with it:

- Meeting new people and connecting with neighbors
- Building community and supporting local
- Sparking conversation and joy
- Connecting to nature and experiencing the health benefits of gardening
- Increasing awareness of our need to support pollinators and beneficial insects
- Inspiring another person to do something they have been dreaming of
And so much more! 💜
