After 29 wonderful years, it is time for me to turn the page on a very special chapter of my life. ❤️💐

At the end of September, I will be retiring and closing Hometown Florist. Saying those words brings so many emotions—excitement for what’s ahead, but also a tremendous amount of gratitude for everything that has made these 29 years so meaningful.

What started as a business became so much more than that. It became a place where I had the privilege of celebrating your happiest moments, sharing in your milestones, creating tributes for those you loved, and helping you put into flowers the things that were sometimes too difficult to say with words. I have been welcomed into so many of your lives, and that is a gift I will never take for granted.

To every customer who walked through our doors, called, ordered flowers, recommended us to a friend, trusted us with an important occasion, or simply stopped by to say hello—thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support over the past 29 years has meant more to me than you will ever know. 🌷

I am incredibly grateful for the friendships, memories, laughter, tears, celebrations, and countless beautiful moments that Hometown Florist has brought into my life. Ellijay has been home to my business and to so many wonderful memories, and I will always be thankful for this community.

Retirement feels a little bittersweet, but I am looking forward to the next chapter and to having more time for family, new adventures, and simply enjoying life at a different pace.

Thank you, Ellijay, for allowing me to do what I love for 29 amazing years. I will forever be grateful that you allowed Hometown Florist to be a small part of your lives. 💕🌸
