Most know that I use to love to go Gold Prospecting but in the winter months, cabin fever would set in and the wife said I needed a winter hobby. Some that have known me for a long time also know that I have a love of creating wooden pictures. I will be getting back to them in time. Fast forward to December of 2017 that's when the Pen Turning came in. A very good friend of mine gave me the pen you

see above. I looked at it in amazement and asked a few questions and few in love with the idea of creating pens. So now I spend my evenings in the basement shop working on pens which you will see everything I create on this page. As I venture more into this hobby, I will take you along with me.

Hello everyone. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. I know I have been absent from the page for a while. My job has kept me busy. But with being busy comes rewards. Dee and I just ordered this. POLAR 350 50W DESKTOP LASER ENGRAVER. We will be posting videos and pictures of it when it comes in around the middle of January.

I want to give a big thank you to my daughter for cleaning up the shop for me. She knows how busy I have been with my 8-5 job. Thank you Courtney. I am also waiting for a shipment to come in so I can get back to pen making, bottle stopper and soon bowls.

Good morning everyone. Please excuse my non-posting for some time. I have been very busy with my job. But once I get back from this trip I promise to start making some pens and other items. There is going to be some new stuff coming out but for now that’s a secret. Lol.
