Finished up my second knife, a fixed blade blank I want to torture test and see if the quality is good enough for future knives. Maple scales came out pretty nice.

Stephanie Norris Ferguson's finished Christmas gift. Repurposed the metal frame from an old desk we had, made a new top, shelf, and stretcher using walnut, cherry, and a very nice piece of curly cherry for the top shelf.

I'd like to thank those of you out there that have supported us since we started this business back in April. It's been a long, bumpy road filled with lots of lessons learned.

While I've enjoyed having access to an actual shop to have full freedom to use any and all tools without worry, it is no longer financially viable for us to continue renting the shop space with the minimal amount of sales we have had.

As such, we will be downsizing to a few select tools, and I will be transitioning to focus on hand tool usage for the foreseeable future and such time that we have a place of our own that will allow us to expand and get back to doing what we love.

We have a few projects we will be finishing up over the next few weeks, and then focusing on cleaning, selling things, and moving back into the one stall garage at our apartment complex.

Milling down rough cut lumber is a bit harder than they make it look on YouTube, but I've almost got enough milled for a custom ordered cutting board. Can't wait to see how it looks in the end.

Making progress, sanded to 180 and chamfered the edges, though I think I'll stick with round overs for the custom board we start soon.

After many, many setbacks on making a crosscut sled, we finally got it fixed and dialed in to make the cuts and get this end grain cutting board glued up! Super excited to get it finished and apply our very own Plane Crazy board butter!
