Meet Beth Hoffeditz of Manasota Monarch Designs!

If you love the colors of our beautiful Gulf Coast, you're going to love Beth's creations!

Beth is a talented fused glass artist who turns colorful glass into beautiful little pieces of coastal art. And she does a little bit of everything!

From her gorgeous beach-inspired necklaces and earrings to colorful framed sunsets, glass waves, and the cutest little coastal keepsakes, her work really captures the beauty of where we live.

I especially love how she brings the colors of our beaches into her glass pieces. The blues, turquoise, sandy shores, and sunsets are just beautiful!

Beth also creates special memorial hearts, offering a meaningful way to hold onto treasured memories.

We're so happy to have Beth and her beautiful creations as part of our Local Tides family!

Building up some inventory for the upcoming season!! These lucky 13 are going in the kiln today! They’ll be available Local Tides Venice and November 14 Manta Market in Englewood!! Check back later to see them when they come out of the kiln 😊☃️

One more video in the natural light and we will call it done! Still soooo much to learn about glazing. It’s definitely a marathon, not a sprint. He will be headed to Local Tides soon! Also- yesterday I sold my first clay piece at the shop!! The “Life is Better at the Beach” wall hanging went home with the sweetest lady yesterday! Thank you to Yvette Clark and Local Tides Venice for giving me this outlet ❤️

OK! As promised, here is the octopus when I opened the kiln this morning. Overall, pretty happy with this guy. Still a lot to learn though.

I’m loving the new Florida ornaments! Still figuring out this whole “glaze effects” thing, but having a blast on the journey! These are all available at Local Tides Venice !

Finally decided to just sculpt something! I’ve had the kiln for three weeks now and I’m not really sure why it has taken me so long to actually dig in and sculpt! I LOVE doing it but for some reason, I was afraid. Of what? I don’t know. Maybe I would suck at it? Low confidence? Who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️. But I got past that and finally did something more than a necklace or Christmas ornament. I’m happy with the way the octopus turned out so far. I can’t take all the credit, I did watch a YouTube video for a little instructional help 😊.
