This week was spent restoring an old butchers knife that held a lot of sentimental value for our client. It used to be her dads knife until he passed away. The knife was in need of some love when it was brought to us so that is exactly what we gave it. We cleaned up the blade and sharpened it, and also reworked the tip that had been broken off. Then we carefully removed the old scales that were loose, tidied them up and reattached them with new pins and glue. A quick polish and oil and it was ready for a whole new life with our very happy client.
