Just a public service post. Some years back my sister messaged me saying my grandfather's World War 2 uniforms were being sold on eBay...and by the time I got to the post, they had sold. I messaged the seller, asking for info about how he acquired them but never heard back. The sale included all his military papers, discharge, etc etc...

Posting as a Hail Mary, but this painting of my grandmother was accidentally donated to the Salvation Army Rt. 1 Saugus, MA approximately 8 weeks ago. It has strong sentimental value! If anyone is aware of its whereabouts, I WILL BUY IT BACK!
Background: This painting was commissioned by my grandfather when he was serving as a WWII Naval Officer in Sorrento, Italy. The painting was done by a local artist based on a picture which he carried in his wallet.

Paintings are my thing but at some point you kind of run out of room then it's a battle between keep or sell keep or sell keep or sell and invariably that means selling something just so you can keep the new thing case in point this oil on canvas which I believe was painted sometime between the 1920s and the 1950s with a pretty gold frame signed Brown it measurers about 40 in by 30 in Mosquito County Mercantile is located within Wildwood Antique Malls of Eustis just minutes from downtown Orlando in beautiful Eustis Florida Treasure Marts of Eustis
