I don’t usually post something like this, but I wanted to pause in the middle of the chaos and thank God for the life He’s blessed me with.

I say it in my prayers every night, but I also want to say it publicly — thank you to the many people who have supported this journey with Candlelight Customs.

I’ve been incredibly blessed to connect with so many great people, build new friendships, and create meaningful pieces for families during both joyful moments and times of loss.

What means the most to me is hearing that even the granite garden memorials serve as gentle reminders of the good times and cherished memories — not just the loss.

Knowing that I’ve built something that helps replace tears with smiles and preserve moments that matter is something I’ll never take for granted.

Lots of sanding shaping and painting to go but the past 4 hours were productive and finally starting to see some progress on the dragon display for the shop

It’s been a long 3 weeks and another 2-1/2 to go before I open back up in the new shops. It will be worth it in the end. I wanted to do something fun for the kids and not be just another gift shop….sooo the back half of the new showroom has been dedicated to a candy palace for the cotton candy and freeze dried candy machines stuffed inside Candy mountain with led lights, dragons, yetis and a shark still to finish carving and wiring up the special effects I hope to have the new shop ready to open to the public in about 2 weeks if I can keep up the pace.
