Welcoming in June with a heart open to growth, change, and all the possibilities! It's Gemini season, and my last few weeks in my 40s. (When I say they flew by, I mean in the literal blink of an eye. When I tell you that every wall in every room of this 7000 sf house is lined with books I am not even exaggerating. There were roughly 50,000 to begin with. I've bought at least 49,867 so far. 🫣

Right now I'm working for two estate sale companies - one that does online auctions and one that only does in-person sales. This is for the latter and we've spent the last two weeks so far just discovering everything in the house. Can't wait to share it with the public because it's gooooooood! 📚

🎨🖌️Available now! This collection makes me think of a moody, broody French painter's loft above the bustling city. The JM Rouillard painting is indeed French (and très magnifique!) and the old horse hair paint brushes belonged to the Danish painter John Gustafson.

Since I'm working like a mad woman these days and can't get ahead enough to plan and advertise a sale, I'm going to post some treasures here whenever I can sneak in a few moments here and there to photograph.

Spent the last few months quietly contemplating what and who and where I want to be. Last year was a dumpster fire complete with a divorce and moving into a teeny-tiny place that isn't exactly Insta-worthy.

Last weekend I took a road trip and, as I was shopping in an antique store 3 hours from home, a woman asked, "Are you Kellie Brown? I know you from Instagram!" And honestly that sealed the deal. I miss it here. I miss you all and the camaraderie and all the pretty things.

So I'm quietly, slowly dipping my toes back in. But with my own no-schedules, no Ai content calendar, no pressure, post-things-I-love-and-hope-you-love-them-too kind of vibes. Okay? The world is too heavy and I'm too tired for much more.

It's a vintage wall pocket or vase, so you can hang it on the wall with some flowers inside, though I think it's equally adorable as bookshelf decor with a dried arrangement or feathers.

On a scale of zen to photo number two, how are you feeling these days? Back-to-school time is always nutty and, even though I'm only sending one off to college this semester, it hasn't been much calmer.

Today we picked up the World's Heaviest Bed 🏆 from FBMP for his room at the frat house, plus food (ramen, red bull, goldfish, and Gatorade)(I'm too tired to care.). And now I'm doing six last-minute loads of laundry...because he's only known for 8 weeks that he's leaving TOMORROW. 🤪

A little peek into one of my booths at in Golden, Colorado. If you're local, stop by!

Tomorrow I start a new job for a local estate sale company. I'm so excited! I grew up in an antiques store, had my own, I've sold online and in antique malls, so I feel like I'll be learning a new aspect of this whole world that includes second-hand, pre-loved, and vintage/antique. Wish me luck!
