✨ FROM THEN TO NOW... AND WE'RE JUST GETTING STARTED. ✨

Two years ago, this space looked very different.

What started as a thrift store with a vision has slowly evolved into something more—a welcoming marketplace filled with talented vendors, curated vintage finds, local makers, unique treasures, and people who have become friends.

We've painted walls, built counters, rearranged more displays than we can count, welcomed new vendors, said goodbye to others, weathered challenges, celebrated victories, and watched this little dream grow into The Shops on Central.

Looking back at these photos reminds us that growth doesn't happen overnight. It happens one small step, one improvement, one vendor, one customer, and one act of faith at a time.

Today, we're proud to be home to 23 amazing vendors, each bringing their own creativity and personality to the shop. What was once simply a store has become a community.

Thank you to every customer who has walked through our doors, every vendor who believed in the vision, every friend and family member who helped move furniture, paint walls, build booths, stock shelves, and cheer us on.

And while we've come a long way, we're still growing, still dreaming, and still finding new ways to make The Shops on Central a place you'll love to visit.

This week we are featuring Vanta Gardens by Katie!

This is the booth that you see when you drive by our store! Her booth is front and center with the most GORGEOUS plants and handmade sun jewelry and plant hangers.  Here's what Katie had to say:

"I am a mother of two with a love of plants and the darker side! I'm a lover of the gothic style with only black in my closet. I am an animal lover with 4 cats, 2 dogs, a turtle and, 5 ducks! I have a passion for turning spaces into lush indoor getaways. I can turn any room into a jungle... my super power! I also craft sun jewelry. Anything that's around that sparkles and catches the sun just makes me smile. I love to incorporate my sparkles in with my darkness. Just like me 🖤✨

I sell house plants and unique plant hangers with various textiles. I love leather and sparkles! 

Working with The Shops on Central has been a dream. The team of women that has helped and been so kind to me is what community is all about. I can't wait to grow with them!! "
