Just a quick note for any clients who might be considering an equipment purchase in the near future, and are on the fence for timing.

I have gotten two e-mails from two different large vendors, and they are updating us with information on the effect of tariffs on pricing. It will be going up, and the timing will be announced when they go into effect.

I have a small stock of 10" and 12" Paradigm Essentials in-room subwoofers, that work great in a theater or surround system, and are a terrific performance value. I got them in before the tariffs, so pricing is still $399.99 for the 10" and $549.99 for the 12", while I have inventory.

Any existing stock of other items will be at the normal pricing until I run out. I'll be transparent about the amount and timing of increases when/if they happen.

You know, I don't say much on here. Probably not enough, truthfully, to be relevant in a useful way. But this ongoing Federal Government thing is causing problems in unforeseen ways. I am in favor of improvements and cost-cutting that is done responsibly. Bring in forensic accountants, carefully go over the books, and cut fat everywhere it can be done without causing harm. My SBA loan, which has been set to auto-pay for a good while now, just sent me a notice that I was delinquent, because whatever they're doing broke the autopay chain, so the auto payment never got processed. Now, that's a ding on my credit, and it's their fault. I realize it might not be a huge ding, but it is a negative mark on me, and it's not because of anything that I did.
