These leashes are handmade from Latigo leather with solid brass hardware. Latigo leather has exceptional strength with little to no stretch. It is weather resistant and so durable that they are used by law enforcement canine handlers. Leashes made with this leather have lasted for decades. Latigo leather is also used for horse gear applications such as reins, stirrups, tie downs, and lace. After the tanning process, the leather is drum dyed, dipped in hot oils, and hand rubbed to a beautiful finish.

Leashes are made to order, custom widths, custom lengths up to 6', and can be personalized with your pet's name stamped into the leather. The standard leash width is 5/8" with a 5mm thickness. I use 207 nylon bonded thread that is inbedded in a groove to place it below the surface of the leather. This protects the thread from coming in contact with abrasive surfaces that would cause it to fray. PM for further details.
