Goodbye, Spring. A season of planting, heavy rains, some flooding issues, bunnies and birds feasting on sprouts, and our first pops of color in the garden. But tonight is calm and quiet, and the bees come home for some porch sitting before tucking in to the hives for the night.

Things are really starting to happen now. 💐Ranunculus and gomphrena are some of the first colors to come out of the large garden. Pink flamingo celosia is not far behind. Hoping to see some more varieties joining in before June is out, but if things keep moving in this direction, July is going to be a vibrant one! 🩷💛💚🧡💜

The flowers have made it to the other side of a water-logged May and are starting to really thrive in June, stretching their roots and branching out their leaves. Strawflowers, celosia, and snapdragons are all thriving, and most of the zinnias. A few have become a crunchy snack for the resident rabbits, but even those are showing grit and growth from being munched earlier last week.
