Our friendship grew through years of travel with our kiddos and usually our mothers were along for the ride too. Each excursion seemed to always involve shopping in a specialty store for home décor items somewhere along our route. We always said, given the time and opportunity, our second careers would be providing an exclusive shopping experience for home décor in and around our local communities
. We are half retired (meaning only one of us is retired) and we were fortunate enough to stumble across a path that would allow us to execute our vision. We can be polar opposites in our personality but instantly we can sync are brains in tandem and know exactly what the other is thinking! This especially holds true when it comes to décor items and our love for projects and keeping ourselves overly busy! A couple of our two favorite decorating items, Copper and Lanterns, paved the way for our home away from home, The Copper Lantern.
