Shore2Shore Clay Arts

Shore2Shore Clay Arts Welcome to the ceramic page for my ceramic work! You'll find just my creations of clay here. Please peruse and enjoy and comment if you will. Get dirty!

I was fortunate to have Linda Arbuckle & Joe Bova as instructors at LSU as-well-as countless visiting artists and workshops. Working in NWARKANSAS in a converted horse barn and a friend’s studio, I work in terra cotta, cone 6 porcelain, and stoneware. All pieces are illustrated with underglaze &/or sgraffito.

Franklin D. Roosevelt /

Franklin Delano Roosevelt (1882–1945) was the 32nd President of the United States, serving from 1933 to 1945 — the longest-serving president in American history. Born in Hyde Park, New York, he came from a prominent family and studied at Harvard University and Columbia Law School.

In 1921, Roosevelt was struck by polio, which left his legs paralyzed. Despite this, he returned to politics with extraordinary determination. In 1933, during the Great Depression, he introduced the New Deal, a series of programs that provided jobs, social support, and economic reforms.

Roosevelt also led the United States through World War II, shaping the modern world order and helping establish the United Nations. His leadership style combined optimism, resilience, and deep belief in public service.

Accept NO substitutions! The Babes of Mud & Fire, (myself, Marg Shore & Mary Curtis) have ended our relationship with art on the square gallery - We're moving to Bentonville's NEWEST, HOTTEST, HIPPEST, art gallery. Our new grouping of artists are graced with such immense talent that we're thinking of putting a 'WARNING' sign on the front door! More details to come as they unfold. Our works can still be found and purchased through The Art Gallery at NWA Mall and through our private studios. Reach out even if it's just to show your support for this new endeavor!
