Thrilled with how these Arkansas tribute pieces turned out. One will be going to auction for Natural State of Being, Saturday in Eureka! See you there?!

From the incorporated black walnut trees to the state dogwood flower, every bit of this design was an intentional homage to the home state I love.

Make sure to check out and support Natural State of Being too. Their mission “is to provide homes, healing, and a sense of community to those experiencing homelessness in and around our towns in Arkansas.”

Another family heirloom set goes on to live another lifetime. 🤩

These had an aged, gummy finish, some missing parts, and various cracks and places of separation.
I rebuilt and reinforced the structures, smoothed out all the surfaces for a refinish, removed the old drawer contact paper and reconditioned the wood with wax, reassembled, and done.

🐚 Coastal Vibes 🐚
These new pantry doors were raw pine. I gave them a whitewash and three coats of a clear, matte finish, then added the subtle glass hardware.

I recently rebuilt and refinished these library steps, likely 19th century, for a client.
They came to me dull, darkened over time by various buildup, broken in a few places, and some deep water stains.

The coolest part- there is no hardware!! All just gorgeous, old fashioned joinery. Dreamy!

I spent 74 years 🥴 hand sanding them before repairing, staining, and finishing in Danish Oil.

Now they’re back home and ready for another 100+ years. 😍

Veneer touch up!
This table had two air freshener marks. The oils in fresheners can dissolve finish and the color underneath, which it did.

I blended those out, touched up the color, and resealed the top.
Same piece, restored and life extended.
