We were projecting sales yesterday to be equivalent to just over half of my monthly teaching salary. But the weather did not hold up, and I don't need Alina getting sick right now.

We have been talking about a property for a new home, with space for a small gallery (and larger studio). But until then, we need to provide more ways for customers to obtain our items.

We have updated our site with a handful of the items we expected to sell out yesterday. Check them out. You can see our previous posts to see other things that may still be available. Just ask!

If you are local to Fayetteville, you can save on shipping by stopping by the house/studio, message us for details on that.

Ways to buy:

1. Online at our website (Link Below)
2. Stop by the house (Message us)
3. Dirtbag Farmers Market (25OCT2026)

People have been stopping by to grab stuff directly from us, you can, too.

Again, so sorry we departed the NC Fall Festival due to the weather. In addition to being wet and cold, the wind terrifies us when we are on hard surfaces.

🚨 🚨 🚨

I have several requests to do pick ups at the house, so many, that we’ve set the garage up so that you can shop in the garage if you’d like.

Now, I live in a residential area, so I have to be cautious with how many people I let come at any given time, but if you’d really like something, please message us for the address and a time.

I will keep the garage set up to shop each day through next Friday, from 5-8 p.m.

Also please note, that I’m receiving more messages about reserving items than I can manage. So, if it takes me a minute to get back to you, it’s not intentional.

Thanks for understanding.

***UPDATE***

I am so incredibly sorry, but we have chosen to pack up. We are both soaking wet and cold, and the wind makes us nervous with everything we sell being so fragile.

When we get back we will do what we can to try and get you the items you were hoping for.

Damnit (sorry, mom).

The weather is far less than ideal. But we are here at NC Fall Festival - Raeford.

Since it’s raining we have decided to only set out our Halloween items (this leaves more space for customers, and ourselves, to be sheltered from the rain.

This event is one of our greatest every year, so we are here.

Many a days like this in the Army, far worse, actually.

What makes this tough was the choice to stay or go.

Please, in the comments, convince us to stay or pack up.

It’s late. School from 8-3:40, then tutoring until 4:30, then game duty until about 8:30.

But I got to come home to open this last glaze load. Very satisfied outside of my snail cracking in half, not sure why; Alina wins the slug war.

Yes, we made mini vases and snail vases to match your Halloween mugs (see previous post for the mugs).

A couple custom orders, too (space mug).

Christmas mugs, Alina and I could argue all day whether penguins or polar bears get white… blue.

Help us out in the comments with that so we can appropriately prepare for Christmas.

We will see you Saturday at the NC Fall Festival - Raeford.

Best.

Last push for Halloween items for NC Fall Festival - Raeford, I had only made one of these little pumpkin tea lights, and I imagine I will need many more.

As I sat here carving them I wondered if carving a pumpkin out of a pre-made (by me) clay body would be a good opportunity for a first class to give at Cape Fear Studios.

I’m one of the newer members so I’m not sure I’ve got enough time to get approval, but I wonder if this is something people would be interested in.

Learning to center and throw a mug in one day would be a tough challenge, but something like this would introduce people to various parts of the making process and they’d have a finished product.

Please let me know in the comments if this is something that would interest you.

Best.

Our winner for our raffle is Caitlin Marsee-Lemon.

Thank you to everyone for participating, believe it or not, your engagement leads to new people discovering us and making purchases.

We’ve had people stop by the house to make purchases and we’ve been shipping boxes out all week.

We have saved plenty for NC Fall Festival - Raeford, so don’t worry.

These raffles seem to be better marketing than paying for online marketing, so we will continue doing them.

If you like our stuff, be sure to hit that follow button.

Thanks Everyone.

As we prepare making mugs for Christmas Markets, we would like to know which style of mug is preferred?

Please let us know in the comments which type you think is more pleasing to the eyes.

We appreciate your input!

***There is also a mug give away going on, if you travel to our previous post you can still enter ***

I woke up at 4 this morning to unload the kiln. I could hardly sleep, waiting impatiently for it to cool.

The contents of this kiln are not only incredible, but the value of everything inside is EQUAL to my monthly teaching salary.

Yes, it took me 6 weeks from start to finish for this load, but that was while teaching full time.

There are more items than I can share here, but I’m sharing the ENTIRE collection of mugs, pumpkins, and ghosts.

A few up close shots of some of our favorite items.

Get ready NC Fall Festival - Raeford.

We are going to give one of these mugs away, please LIKE, SHARE, COMMENT, or FOLLOW to enter.

Thanks for staying with us.

I feel like this is the first event we do not feel rushed to get the glazing done for.

Usually we end up burning the midnight oil to get things glazed in time to survive the 36 hour firing cycle.

We are VERY excited for NC Fall Festival - Raeford on 17OCT.

We have about 60 of these on deck, 12 have been spoken for.
