But first I need to clear out some office space! Time to pack up some fabric and send it to loving homes!
🧚🏻‍♀️ Who wants a Designer Mystery Bundle Destash? I’ll state the designer and each bundle will be multiple pieces equalling the weight of 1 yard. All fabric is out of print as I haven’t bought new fabric in ages!

Ramblings from a bag lady 🤪
Do any of you salvage hardware from old handbags? If so, what designers do you find have the most quality/unique hardware? I don’t usually thrift for handbags in general so I don’t seek out designers, so now I’m curious!
No one come at me for this! Lol. I have no intentions of chopping up perfectly good handbags but ones that I’ve seen far better days are fair game. I would much rather repurpose them than toss them! ♻️

Today is rainy and dreary again so here’s to brightening my mood and yours with a new project!
I decided to try to get myself out of my head with something completely brand new! My mom has been making these ornaments for nearly 21 years so I figured it was high time I gave it a go. Her’s tend to be more traditional, muted colors and more Christmas themed unless commissioned. (She has made a lot of sports ornaments over the years!) That being said I decided to add my own flare to mine and I can’t wait to see how it turns out. Let’s hope everything stay sunny side up! 😹

When I was still able to go to therapy the question they always ask you, “Are you feeling helpless or hopeless?”, used to confuse me. I thought what is the difference? Now, they just sound like descriptions of my life. I had this long drawn out post that I was trying to write to explain where I had been these last 9 months or so but I kept getting stuck. I really wanted to be able to write this inspirational post about all the sh*tty things I have faced in the last year and end with a positive message about where I’m headed and for the need to unite and all of those great things but I’m not there yet I guess. I feel lost at sea. The longer I contemplate my circumstances and try to figure out what to do, the further I drift. I am trying so so hard. I will try again tomorrow. I just wanted to tip toe out of hiding and try to say that I’m still here and trying. Even though I feel guilty and just crappy saying all of this and posting it, it’s like a form of therapy.

I hope everyone had a happy holiday! We were busy busy busy, neck deep in toy assembly! I don’t think I’ve read so many instruction booklets before 😂
Yesterday marked the first day of the 25% off sale in the shop! It runs until January 3rd so everyone has time to snag anything you might have had your eye on 👀
I also wanted to thank everybody who is placed an order over the last month or so. It honestly means the world to me that you like my work enough to buy it! That and it is a huge boost in confidence for this small time crafter! Hopefully the new year brings health, prosperity and healing aaaaannd maybe a craft show or two if things change at all. We can only hope. 🤞 So thank you again for your continued support, I really appreciate each and every one of you. 🥰
Now if anyone needs me I will be hanging out in my studio with all of my pretty bags, sewing some binding on a little man’s quilt!

Taking a little break from other sewing to make some requested Christmas presents 🎁 I love it when my kids come to me and ask me to make something for them. It really helps to know they like the things I make 💕
