Do you love to read by the beach? Or read beachy books when you can’t get there?

Let’s talk about creating a cozy book area in your home. Find a bookshelf you love, score one on marketplace to redo or an available one in your home and add your books in stacks, in order by series or by color. These shelves are billy shelves from Ikea with doors and an extender added.

Find a cozy corner chair or cover your sofa with cozy blankets and pillows to curl up with as you read.
Decorate with beach treasures and, of course, you can add one of my handmade signs.

Amelia Island is amazing for beach combing. I wish our waters were a little more emerald blue but our treasures of seashells, shark teeth, and the occasional sea glass make up for it.

Often after a storm is the best time to go out shelling!
There’s often nothing I’d rather be doing than taking a walk on the beach looking for treasures. If I’m not doing that, I’m probably working on signs about finding beach treasures…..or cleaning my house and running my kids around!
