In between all my other chaos and helping my moms recover after hip surgery, I'm starting on my next client project. Getting these chairs refinished, adding new cushions and new material. 💪 Lots of sanding and my carpal tunnel is acting up badly 🫤 But I'm getting them done slowly.

Before and After for a client. All finished. 💪😊 About 28 hours of work, lots of sanding and cleaning to get the old stain color removed. This beautiful hutch topper will match the bottom cabinet I already did for the client previously.

I recently gave my son's bedroom a makeover. And of course that meant I needed to be crafty and make things my self. 😆 I made plush rock pillows, lily pads and logs. I'm also working on crocheting a little throw blanket, which will probably end up being treated more like a rug. Here is my progress so far on the crochet....

Scraping the old finish✔️
Removed the top decorative trim ✔️
Removed the fake wood/ cardboard backing✔️

Since I can't really sand and restain the backing, it will be replaced with a piece to match the color of the new finish. Everything will be sanded down to bare wood and all the edges and details cleaned up. Then I will stain the new color and seal it with lacquer.
