Happy Memorial Day! This is my Dad, he served in the Marines during the Vietnam War. ❤️ While my Dad made it home, there were many that did not.
Today, we honor the ones that served that never came home. They paid the ultimate price for our safety and freedom.
I will forever be grateful and forever be proud to be an American! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Mother’s Day hits a little different for me when the person who taught you everything slowly forgets. 🥹 I will always be thankful for her time with us here on earth but I grieve every day for her and the way it use to be.

To the daughters walking through dementia with their moms… loving them through the confusion, repeating the stories, holding their hand through the hard days, and grieving little pieces of them along the way — I feel your pain ❤️

And to the mamas, the dads carrying both roles, the women longing to become mothers, the ones missing their babies in heaven, the bonus Moms, fur mamas, Happy Mother’s Day!

Whatever your Mother Day looks like I’m sending all my love to you! Have a wonderful day!

I woke up this morning and Facebook said, remember this from 15 years ago.. sure do‼️ My first attempt at making a cake like this for my sister’s baby shower and my last! It was fondant too 😵‍💫😂

Needless to say, I turned it over to the professionals after that but the little monkey on top with a baby bottle, pacifier and blankey was adorable…. at the time! 😂

The cake was delicious but I can clearly remember everyone’s teeth were green☠️😂

I have since moved on to the fake bake side.. who knows I might challenge myself to make this exact cake again, what do you think? 🙈
