Today While I was cleaning and dusting in my craft room I ran accross this old garden fairy that I bought at the Dollar Tree many years ago. She had sat in my daughters bedroom window for many years. It stayed here when she moved out.

The paint was very faded so I decided to give her a full makeover! 💜💚🩷💙

I had this wooden egg for some time! I only pull it out at Easter time. It was a very bright yellow which pretty much goes with nothing in my home decor.

So I decided to give it a makeover to my kitchen decor. I painted it red, traced the flowers with gold paint and black dotted the centers with a sharpie.

I don't think this Pic does it justice, it's really pretty in person and the right lighting.

I thought about blinging the centers with a clear stone, what do you think???

Painting this Stackable Egg from Dollar Tree has proved to be the absolute hardest thing I have ever done. 🙄

It has a slick plastic surface so I thought starting with a white a primer was the right thing to do! WRONG! 🤣

After I painted it with all the colors I thought putting a clear coat on it would keep it from scratching up! WRONG! 🤣 All it did was make all the paint run, color into color. It was a huge mess! So I put it in the sink and scrubbed it all off with hot water and soap with a scrub pad I eventually threw away.

Back to the drawing board! Literally 🤣 Lol

Seems the only thing that would take on this is Sharpie markers. So I colored all the black in with a sharpie, then I painted the black with an acrylic paint pen. Then traced the lines with a gold paint pen. It finally stuck! Let that dry for a few days but not in the sun! Lol that might melt it here in South Texas where winter hasn't come yet! 🤣🤣🤣

Then, I went back over the acrylic with the black sharpie. Then again with black acrylic. I tell you my hand and wrist hurt so bad today I can't do much! 🤣🤣🤣

Next, tomorrow I will see if I can glue some flowers to each section. I know damn well hot glue is not going to work! 🤣🤣🤣 Any Suggestions???

I had an old basket that had been sitting in the garage, it used to be white but you couldn't tell because it was so dirty. So Hubs cleaned it up for me and painted it black.

I had gotten a pink and red rose bushel each at Hobby Lobby last week when they were on sale 40% off to put in it for my kitchen nook. So I made my bouquet and added a 3D butterfly in black and red and also some dark pink flowers for added color pop. I placed it on the table between my 2 chairs in my kitchen nook. It turned out beautiful. I also finished setting up the rest of my Alice In Wonderland decor I had made.

Then, I had gotten this 2D heart mirror, it is to become an Alice in Wonderland theme wreath. I added some jewels to it, a butterfly, some pretty harlequin and red ribbon with some Alice in Wonderland characters to the tails. It's a little smaller than I thought it would be but turned out great nonetheless! We are All Mad Here! 😁 The Queen of Hearts card is the qst on the tails, OFF with their heads! 🤣

Anyway, I hope you all love it as much as I do! ❤️

Hello all my crafty friends, I have been super busy this morning creating some Valentine's/Easter crafts for my kitchen and dining room. My kitchen is red/black/gray/gold and my dining room is blue/orange and purple. This year I'm going for an Alice in Wonderland theme.

I found the cute strawberry plates at Hobby Lobby and I glued the big plate to a candle holder I got from Dollar Tree to make a cake stand.

I didn't get much done today in anything but relaxing, but I managed to scrape up a little energy to paint the flowers red on these cute lil bunnies that will be a part of my Alice in Wonderland theme kitchen decor! I think they turned out pretty cute! ❤️

Anyway, I found some pretty cute things to use in my Alice in Wonderland Theme Valentine's/Easter Decor! Cute lil tea cups, the cat planter and strawberry tea cup and plate. I have plans for the lil white tea pot! 😊

I really love the farmhouse banner, it's going ti look great in my kitchen! ❤️

P.S. and yes, I made the wooden heart in the background. It's not finished yet, but will be part of my kitchen decor. 😊
